Get to know the pen
CORE brings the formulation and delivery device together in a ready-filled pen. Its dose-selection dial, rear trigger and cartridge window are the features to understand before use.
Dose-selection dial
The dial selects a measured volume. Your prescribed dose remains individual to you and your exact formulation.
Spring-driven delivery
Pressing the rear trigger activates the internal spring drive. Correct needle placement and use still require practical training.
Glass cartridge and inspection window
The Type I borosilicate glass cartridge sits inside the pen body, with a window for viewing its contents.
The pen format does not determine which medicine or dose is appropriate. Follow the product-specific instructions and your clinician’s plan.
Bimix, Trimix and alprostadil explained
Bimix combines papaverine and phentolamine. Trimix combines those two ingredients with alprostadil. Both are used as penile injection treatments for erectile dysfunction under medical supervision.
Alprostadil can also be used as a treatment on its own. In the CORE range shown here, it is a component of CORE+ and ULTRA; CORE 100 and CORE 200 do not contain it. A Trimix pen is not the same product as an alprostadil-only medicine.

Start with the formulation prescribed for you, then compare the available pen capacity. Larger capacity does not automatically mean a stronger formulation or more suitable treatment.
CORE+ Trimix
Papaverine 30 mg/mL + phentolamine 4 mg/mL + alprostadil 30 mcg/mL.
CORE+ 200: 2 mL. CORE+ 300: 3 mL.
Both formats contain the same ingredient concentrations.
ULTRA Trimix
Papaverine 30 mg/mL + phentolamine 6 mg/mL + alprostadil 60 mcg/mL.
ULTRA 300: 3 mL.
This formulation has higher phentolamine and alprostadil concentrations than CORE+. It requires its own prescribing decision.
The number on the pen identifies its format, not your dose. The number of treatments depends on the prescribed volume and the product’s usable life. Do not transfer a dose between formulations yourself.
When ED tablets are not working well
Penile injections are one option a clinician may consider when tablets are ineffective, unsuitable or not preferred. An assessment should also look at possible causes of erectile dysfunction and other treatment choices.
Tell your clinician about your health conditions, medicines and previous ED treatments. Do not combine an injection with other ED medicines unless your prescriber specifically directs you to.

Learn the device before your first use
Practical, product-specific training matters. Your clinician should explain the prescribed dose, injection technique, hygiene, storage and what to do if the response lasts too long. Written instructions support that training.
Ask questions before using a new formulation or unfamiliar pen. Do not work out a starting dose from a product name, comparison chart or online image.

Plan delivery around the exact formulation and your storage arrangements. CORE+ and ULTRA are listed with cold-chain shipping and refrigerated storage requirements. For every pen, follow the confirmed product label and handling instructions.
If you are staying in Bangkok, travelling between hotels or leaving Thailand, raise those details before your request is confirmed. Do not assume all Bimix or Trimix products tolerate the same temperatures.
Comparing domestic and overseas supply

For an overseas option, obtain product-specific guidance from Thai FDA before arranging shipment. Any lawful supply route also needs appropriate storage and temperature-controlled transport.

Common questions
Is Trimix the same as alprostadil?
No. Alprostadil is one of Trimix’s three ingredients. It can also be supplied as a separate medicine. The other Trimix ingredients are papaverine and phentolamine.
Is CORE 200 stronger than CORE 100?
They have the same Bimix concentrations. CORE 200 contains a larger volume. CORE+ 200 and CORE+ 300 also share the same concentrations within their Trimix family.
Can I choose a pen just because tablets have stopped working?
A clinician should first review your symptoms, medical history and treatment options. A product comparison cannot decide whether an injection is suitable for you.
Can I switch from my current injection to a CORE pen?
Ask your prescriber to compare the exact ingredients and concentrations, and arrange training for the device. The same volume can represent a different amount of medicine.

No. CORE is not manufactured in Thailand. Thailand is the stockholding and domestic fulfilment location.

Thai FDA’s published personal-use guidance states that ordering modern medicines into Thailand by post is not allowed and cites import-licensing requirements. Its provisions for medicines carried by travellers are separate. Do not treat a personal prescription as permission for an overseas shipment. Check the lawful options for the exact medicine with Thai FDA and a qualified local clinician or pharmacist.
